Yema is a French brand founded in 1948 in Besançon by Henry Louis Belmont. The brand achieved great prestige in the 1960s and 1970s, being the official watch of the 1978 French Everest expedition and equipping numerous French Air Force pilots. After a period of inactivity, Yema was relaunched in 2004 and continues to manufacture sports and diving watches with French automatic movements.
